Harsinghar ~ Parijat

The harsinghar or parijat flower has a divine fragrance. Just as it blooms, it falls from the tree, and is the only flower that can still be used for prayer rituals after falling.
The sight of its orange stems upright on the white petals, fallen on a green lawn, is something I treasure from my childhood.
