I forgot my Gaia anniversary yesterday!
Too busy enjoying Mary's 3rd Anniversary Party! and Resurrected1's 2nd GaiAnniversary!
Exploring Gaia with new member Hillora and attending the Countdown to Gina's 50th ~ March 5
Yup! Busy and enjoying this Gaia experience among my >20 groups, and almost >400 friends.
Last week, I visited my friends' profiles and realized that a person can actually remember and know that many people and feel close to them! Now that I've learned the gift of Filling in the silence when I'm not writing or reading, I'm enjoying relating to all my friends in different ways.
And it isn't friends alone. I find myself thankful for all those on Gaia; the ones with whom I resonate and those that seem so different--you represent the present and the potential of Gaia.
Thank you for helping me to open up to a community when I thought I had found a place where I could blog in peace and quiet, away from the madding crowd!

Hi Siona. You know as I was going through the list of my first friends on Gaia, I realized that I’ve left out the very first friend. The Gaia Team. And then I thought–to me, each member of the team is not just that, they’re also people. Siona, you’re a friend in a difficult but beautiful situation. And how you manage to be authentic while balancing your twin roles as member and director of this community; wisely young; busy and yet always there, in our personal ways; accepting our complaints, and our accolades, all with the balance of you….it’s all a wonder for me. Such a mixture of humility and confidence.
There are few people we can respect and love and like. You are all three [and yes, in this community there are others as well!]

Ahhhh! Yes, I wasn’t sure if you would get that reference. The Tardess was the name of the space ship/time machine used by Dr Who. On the outside it looked like a typical English phone box, but once you stepped inside it was actually an enormous labyrinth of rooms. The Tardess was not what it appeared to be and had the ability manipulate time and space.

This cycle of life has a red-orange-white cooking intensity. Death, Birth, Breaktghroughs, Break Downs, radicial renewal and melancholy are so close to each other.
Its a chapter in life where you feel not only standing on the shoulders of giants and widening horizones for the next generations. But to feel the responsibility to risk the cutting and often bleeding edge of the new. Not once a month, but every single day and hour.
You are opening and offering space for transgenerational communication too. And I feel new parts of identity in yourself are emerging.
Wishing you a good transition within this metamorphosis.
