HAPPY NEW YEAR, UNIVERSE!

Posted on Dec 31st, 2007 by Meenakshi : Connection Meenakshi
Dear friends,
As 2007 draws to a close, and 2008 is about to dawn,
May we all focus on a wider perspective,
Grow together into universal healing energy ,
And continue to expand into light,
Flowing with hoops of joy, floating in laughter, beaming it to all our near and dear ones, and those who are near and dear to them, till we hear the song of the whole universe.

HAPPY NEW YEAR!

In loving light
Meenakshi
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Is there a new year in the universe? If there is one in an infinitesimal part, then perhaps there is!  This entry is meant to be posted at the time Jan 1 2008 dawns in Japan. When it does, it will still be 31 Dec. 2007 in the U.S.A.
Even on Earth, tiny by the standards of the universe, the new year will come at different times. In the universe, with gazillion starry and planetary bodies, who knows what effect this has!
Enjoy this view of our universe. Rather than making us seem small, though -- I think it helps us feel expanded! Wherever we are, we know only through ourselves....from the center of our Self to the far reaches of the universe: hello!
…according to the Urantia Book…we can observe about 3/4 of our universe…1 of 7 that circle the central universe…the Super Universe is actually finite…does have limits…but that energy radiates from the Central Sun (First Source) in 4 larger rings of decreasing strength…these are areas for *future* creations…this is why WE are in *school*…this is why We are going through this training…beyond what exists is the void…this is the blackboard for creating to infinity…we are being prepared for our eternal career of unending creation…
   …cool !…bring it on!…
What a delightful surprise to see the visitors to this blog, on my return from work!
Ojolie, it took me a moment to realize that this is your card website; I loved the perspective of the cats looking out of the house. Very cosy, and fresh at the same time.
Medi, Elke, Enlightened Thinker, Traveling Alchemist : your presence enriches my life in different ways.
Will;
I never did get around to reading the Urantia Book, even years after I was introduced to it. In front of me right now, is a part of the lecture on the universe that points out how 70% of the universe is dark energy, 25% dark matter and only 5% ordinary matterthat makes up all planets, stars, dust and us. [I'd personally call it extraordinary matter, but I'm biased!]
I'd got really excited by the discovery of the void a few months ago. If you care to, please have a look at my blog abt it.
Hi Meenakshi:
Thanks for sharing that - it has always been a fascination of mine to look at the stars and it always fills me with a sense of awe and wonder! With the thought there are billions and bilions of stars in the galaxies of the universe, how can we think that Earth is the only planet that holds life? Humankind is so anthropocentric, don't you think!
Happy New Year,
Russ
Dear Meenakshi,
Thanks for bringing us all such wonderful stuff.  We all get so busy with our daily lives that we forget that most of the stuff is totally insignificant. “on't sweat the samll stuff and its all small stuff”…. LOL
Thanks again…
Hope we can all work to make 2008 Great.
Sincerely,
Theone.
Russ, I think we are looking for life, but haven't as a race, found it in the obvious way that we would like, so we feel that it doesn't exist. Some think that we have already encountered life forms from other planets; and that they may be walking among us. Others feel they are not of Earth. So who knows for sure? In a chameleon way, I feel everyone is right!
Theone I hope so too. Mark, thank you.
